Host it yourself

A folder, a key, a server with Docker.

  1. Share a folder in Google Drive with anyone with the link.
  2. In the Google Cloud console, create a project, enable the Google Drive API and create an API key for it. No billing needed.
  3. Get the code from GitHub, and copy .env.example to .env: fill in the folder's link, the key, your site's address and your name.
  4. Run docker compose up -d. One container keeps the site in step with the folder, the other serves it, behind the web server you already have.

The README has the details: Nextcloud, themes, variants, and running it without Docker.
